BECOME A VOLUNTEER!

Become a volunteer with Family Connections. The Family Resource Center (FRC) has a wide variety of volunteer positions available:

• Child Care Assistant
• Playgroup Activity Coordinator
• Lending Librarian
• Office Assistant
• Board member

Parent to Parent is always looking for parent mentors to join our team.   If you are a parent who has some spare time to connect to another parent to offer support, encouragement and friendship, then Parent to Parent is the opportunity for you. Receive training and educational materials to pass along to the family they are assigned. Bi-monthly support meetings help mentors to stay connected with each other and updated on the program. Mentors are asked to have a minimum of two contacts with their assigned family per month, with one of those being face to face.

Volunteers for both the Family Resource Centers and the Parent to Parent Program are asked to participate in an orientation program.
