Family Resource Centers (FRC)
are a
cooperative effort of community
resources working together to give
parents education and support. We
help parents build on their
strengths as a family by providing
them with the information they
require to make good parenting
decisions. We support parents in
their goals of building healthy

Single Session
Workshops
Single Session Workshops are perfect
for busy parents who find it hard to
fit in a multi-session class, but
still want to gain insight on
important parenting issues. Free
child care is provided for these
workshops and pre-registration is
required.
Multi Session
Classes
Multi Session Classes cover a more
in depth perspective to popular
parenting topics and give you a
chance to build on the strengths you
already have. Free child care is
provided for these classes, advance
registration is required.
Family Fun Events
Family Fun Events are offered
throughout the year to provide
opportunities for the entire family
to learn and have fun together.
Playgroups
Playgroups provide a wonderful
opportunity for your child to
socialize with other young children
and for you to talk with other
parents you can relate to. Come as
often as you can to relax and enjoy
yourself; activities, toys, and
snacks are provided. No
pre-registration is required.
Special playgroup events and field
trips are also planned throughout
the year.
Resources
On The
Road
Breaking for Families is a program
designed to provide families
information and resources on a
variety of topics. With today's
fast-paced lifestyle, our intent is
to meet parents
where they are to offer free
educational presentations. We will
bring local experts to your work
site or group meeting to facilitate
20-30 minute workshops--perfect for
lunch breaks, change of shift times
or as a part of your group's regular
meeting.
